Magnet Medical seeks a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to fill a travel job in North Dakota. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
About the Role:
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients. You will ensure patient comfort and safety, prepare the imaging equipment, and assist the healthcare team in obtaining diagnostic information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, answering any questions, and ensuring they are comfortable.
* Verify patient information, including medical history, allergies, and prior imaging, to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate imaging protocols.
* Position patients properly on the CT table to obtain the necessary images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
* Instruct patients on how to hold their breath or remain still during scans, as required by the procedure.
Requirements:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
* Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina to lift patients and move equipment
