Job Summary
We are seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Mequon, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment and be able to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessment and physician orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and clinical progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding the plan of care and any changes in condition.
Patient Education and Safety
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans.
