Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist in providing rehabilitation services to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to help patients regain skills necessary for daily living and working, while promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist
- Provide therapeutic activities to help patients develop skills in self-care, work, and leisure activities
- Use adaptive equipment and assistive devices as prescribed by the OT to promote patient independence
- Collect data, take notes, and report observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions to help patients develop skills in self-care, work, and leisure activities
Requirements:
