We are seeking a skilled CT Travel Technologist to join our team. As a CT Travel Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation and Communication: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, answering any questions, and ensuring they are comfortable.
- Operation of CT Equipment: Operate and calibrate the CT scanner, ensuring proper settings for each scan, including parameters such as radiation dose, slice thickness, and imaging protocols.
- Image Quality and Review: Review the CT images for quality, ensuring that all required areas are captured and the images meet diagnostic standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) or willingness to obtain.
