Radiology Technician - CT Scan Expert

Job Summary

Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Bellevue, Nebraska. As a CT Scan Expert, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Preparation:
• Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring they are comfortable.
• Verify patient information, including medical history and allergies, to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate imaging protocols.
• Imaging Procedures:
• Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and interpret images to identify potential health issues and refer cases to radiologists as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Registered Technologist (RT).
• 2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in an acute-care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
