About the Position
This position involves providing comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. You will be responsible for assessing and monitoring the health of pregnant women at various stages of labor, as well as assisting with deliveries and providing emotional support to patients during this critical time.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Labor and Admission Assessment: Gather health histories, vital signs, and physical assessments of pregnant women at various stages of labor.
- Labor Support and Monitoring: Regularly assess contraction patterns, cervical dilation, fetal heart rate, and maternal vital signs to monitor labor progress.
- Assisting with Delivery: Provide instrumentation assistance, suctioning, and other necessary actions during vaginal deliveries.
