RN in Labor and Delivery Specialty

Responsibilities:
As a Lab or and Delivery Registered Nurse at Magnet Medical, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. Key responsibilities include:

1. Assessing and monitoring the health of pregnant women at various stages of labor.
2. Providing continuous emotional support and pain management throughout the labor process, using comfort measures, including positioning, breathing techniques, and offering encouragement.
3. Assisting with amniotomy, if necessary, and other procedures as directed by the healthcare team.
4. Participating in cesarean section procedures by ensuring the sterile field, assisting with the delivery process, and providing immediate newborn care after birth.
5. Providing education and support to patients and families regarding labor, delivery options, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
