Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg team in Bloomington, Indiana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and clinical progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care and educate patients on procedures, medication, and recovery plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, progress, and outcomes in the medical record.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in the state of Indiana
- 1 years of experience in Med-Surg nursing
