Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience working in ICU settings and be able to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process and as defined by the healthcare facility's unit-specific job description.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an RN program.
- Previous work experience as an RN in an ICU setting.
- Current unrestricted RN license in the state.
Work Environment:
The ICU environment can be physically demanding and requires frequent lifting, bending, and reaching. The nurse may be required to lift up to 80 pounds using proper techniques and may need to stand and walk for 2-5 hours at a time. There is a risk of exposure to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases/waste, and blood-borne pathogens.
