We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Medical Imaging Technician to join our Magnet Medical team. As a diagnostic imaging professional, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assisting with catheter-based procedures, and ensuring patient safety during complex procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Verify patient information, including medical history, allergies, and consent forms, before the procedure begins.
- Set up the monitoring equipment and ensure proper positioning for optimal procedure results.
- Handle sterile instruments, such as catheters, balloons, and stents, during the procedure.
- Operate X-ray fluoroscopy equipment and assist with imaging during diagnostic tests.
Requirements:
- Strong background in cardiovascular technology and experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
