Job Description

Magnet Medical seeks a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Springdale, Arkansas.

Surgical Team Member

The successful candidate will work alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, RNs, and other surgical personnel to deliver patient care and assume responsibilities before, during, and after surgery.

Certifications and Requirements

• BLS certification required

Physical Demands

Constant standing/walking or lifting/handling/equipment of moderate weight (20-50 lbs) is required. Examples include nurses, LPNs, and physical therapists.

Key Responsibilities

1. Function as a Surgical Technician in 5 of the 6 specialties, assisting with direct patient care in the operating room.
2. Demonstrate appropriate aseptic technique, including scrubbing, gowning, and gloving.
3. Select and prepare supplies and equipment for surgical cases.
4. Operate all surgical equipment.
5. Organize instrumentation and maintain the sterile field.
6. Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments.
7. Perform all surgical counts consistently, including the safety count.
8. Participate in general operating room activities and contribute to a highly effective team.
