Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the repair of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies using hand tools.
- Utilize measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, and vernier calipers to ensure precision.
- Perform a variety of tasks related to machining and component fabrication.
- Exhibit a certain degree of creativity and latitude in completing assigned tasks.
- Work under general supervision to complete required repairs and fabrications.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to meet certain certifications in a specialized area, if required.
- Strong ability to read and follow verbal work instructions.
- Proficiency in completing necessary documentation and records.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components and machining processes.
