Summary:
MAC is looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist. We are seeking a professional, reliable, and friendly individual to join our team. This position requires a strong customer service orientation, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
The Logistics Specialist will be coordinating supply chain activities and day-to-day customer service activities from MAC's Elmsford, NY location. The successful candidate will be able to provide customers with information about available products, answer questions about current or future products, and provide product recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, operations, or customer service, demonstrating a solid understanding of shipping processes and customer engagement.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on active listening and adapting to diverse communication styles to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- A strong orientation toward customer service, with the ability to foster positive relationships and respond adeptly to customer inquiries and needs.
- Experience with Domestic and International Shipping required.
- Proficiency with MS Office required. ERP experience preferred.
- Ability to meet pressing deadlines with attention to detail.
- Highly organized and ability to multitask efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and plan all shipments originating from our Elmsford NY facility.
- Maintain all related documentation for shipments.
- Coordinate with Operations Manager and Production Manager.
- Engage with internal and external customers for clearances, etc.
- Coordinate between Production and Customers for repair purchase orders.
- Generate quotes, job orders and sales orders.
- Uphold MAC’s company principles in all aspects of work: Respect, Responsibility, Responsiveness, Integrity, and Improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
