Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Videographer and Editor to join our video production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and strong technical skills in both videography and video editing. In addition to creating engaging video content, this role will also involve managing our footage archive to ensure efficient organization and accessibility of assets.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill a camera assistant role when on set.
- Edit raw footage into polished and compelling video content using industry-standard editing software.
- Manage and organize the footage archive, including labeling, cataloging, and indexing video assets for easy retrieval and reuse.
- Ensure the security and integrity of video files by implementing backup protocols and storage best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in videography and video editing to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years industry experience OR Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or related field.
- Proficiency with industry standard video editing software. (e.g. Final Cut Pro Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro) Experience with Final Cut Pro is advantageous, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and maintain a large archive of footage and assets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Experience with social media platforms and understanding of their content requirements is advantageous.
