Job purpose
Outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to become part of the Arnold Magnetic Technologies Team, focused on manufacturing products for the Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Medical and Industrial marketplaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing service to customers in all aspects including but not limited to quoting, contract review, order management and status updates. It is also their responsibility to facilitate communication between the Business Development team and intercompany departments as well as customer contacts.
Duties and responsibilities
- Serves as the daily contact for assigned customers and responds to inquiries in a timely manner
- Advocates for the customer’s needs and goals within the organization
- Follows Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Leads all aspects of the contract review process and partners with the cross functional team to provide customer resolutions
- Uses Company tools and resources to ensure organizational consistency and efficiency
- Processes requests for Quotations from customers and provides feedback
- Processes Purchase Orders from customers and provides order status updates for duration of the contract
- Communicates and cooperates with other departments and across business units
- Utilizes Syteline ERP System to perform daily tasks
- Effectively utilizes Microsoft Office and Outlook to perform daily tasks
- Reviews technical drawing packages and quality requirements at a high level
- Grows the business with prospecting new and current customers with industry opportunities and services
- Creates and manages work instructions for customer specific portals and interface
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: BA in Business, Marketing, related technical field, or equivalent experience
Work experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing Sales or Customer Service
- Experience operating within AS9100 (preferred) or ISO certified facility
- Experience working in a Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement environment
- Proficiency in ERP for order entry and order management, Syteline experience preferred
- Expertise with MS Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Level of travel required: Minimal
- PPE required throughout production facility
- Sedentary office environment
- Required to do repetitive work, with fingers and hands
- Periodic lifting of materials not to exceed 25 pounds.
