Job Description:
Magnifica Air, a luxury charter airline, is seeking an experienced Analyst/Controller to provide financial analysis and support to the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and developing financial models to support decision-making.
Overall, the Analyst/Controller is responsible for providing financial analysis and support to Magnifica Air, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data, and helping to guide business decisions through financial modeling and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop financial models to support decision-making, such as forecasting models, budget models, and scenario analyses.
- Conduct financial analysis of business performance, including identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with other departments to gather data and provide financial support for business decisions.
- Assist with the development of budgets and forecasts, and track actual performance against budgeted targets.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
