Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly close processes including departmental expense reviews and supporting workpapers for financial statement preparation and reporting.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Manage the annual financial statement audit process with external audit firm
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
- 10 years' working in accounting
- 3-5 years' experience in accounting management, and leading direct reports
- Ability to lead team through complex month end closing, GAAP analyses, reconciliations, preparations and presenting to leadership
- CPA Required
