Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining BI reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical tools. These tools will support decision-making processes across various departments. The role requires the ability to analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will partner with team members to develop visualizations and reports that deliver real business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyzing large datasets to extract insights and identify trends, anomalies, and correlations.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborating with business stakeholders to define and document project requirements.
- Reporting and Visualization: Developing clear, concise reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings.
- Stakeholder Management: Working with cross-functional teams to align reporting needs and ensure successful delivery of data visualizations.
- Predictive Modeling: Applying statistical techniques to forecast future trends and outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Visualization Engineer or BI Report Designer with a focus on large-scale data analytics initiatives.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing visualizations using PowerBI.
- 1 years of experience working with cloud-based platforms for data visualization.
- Strong SQL knowledge for querying databases like SQL Server and Infor ERP.
- Familiarity with data warehouse solutions such as Microsoft Fabric.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Familiarity with agile project management practices.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- MBA or Master's degree in a technology-related field preferred.
