What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Clerk position at Magnify?
We are on the hunt for an experienced, efficient Data Entry Clerk! Our Ashland, VA client is growing their administrative team and eager to bring someone on board as soon as possible!
They are seeking someone with data entry experience including 10-KEY data entry, who is able to work productively with limited supervision; someone with a strong work ethic!
The position is 100% on-site, Monday-Friday 8am to 5pms.
Typing test(s) will be required.
Job Description:
- Gathering data regarding client information, financial statements, bills, invoices, or receipts.
- Completing data needs in an accurate and efficient matter.
- Filing documentation in an organized storage system.
- Finding and resolving any data inconsistencies.
- Providing answers to questions related to data or data errors in the system.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Data Entry - 10 key - 9,000 KPH minimum
- Standard typing test - min 30-40 WPM
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed and organizational skills
- Excellent typing skills
Experience:
- Previous experience with data entry is a plus
- Previous experience within an administrative assistant role is a plus
