In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing engineering, procurement, & construction (EPC), engineered equipment, and construction services contract project sourcing strategies aligned with business stakeholder priorities. Your expertise in construction project contracts will be crucial in procuring EPC/turnkey contracts and implementing strategies to achieve project savings targets. You will negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers while managing risk mitigation and post-award contract management plans to optimize successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Execute contracting and procurement strategy/tactics for capital projects, sourcing high-value, complex goods and services.
- Develop should cost models, project justifications, technical bid requirements, specifications, and specialized terms & conditions.
- Lead bid evaluation teams to analyze proposals, award business, and seek opportunities for value capture.
- Apply contract knowledge to ensure efficient project delivery management by integrating all contract components.
- Negotiate contracts representing company interests in purchases associated with capital projects.
- Create and manage project plans for sourcing goods and services while maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
- Establish post-award contract management plans to monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
