Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate the Electric Distribution System in real-time.
- Direct field employees in switching operations.
- Write, review, and approve switching procedures.
- Troubleshoot failures in the electric system and choose appropriate actions for restoration.
- Interact with Control Center personnel to provide timely information on system conditions.
- Maintain working relationships with other utilities, generating stations, and Security Coordinators.

- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts as per department policies.

Qualifications

- Must reside within a 20-mile radius of Skypark Service Center within the first 6 months of hire.
- One-year or longer technical degree/certificate in electrical field or completion of Xcel Energy approved apprenticeship.
