We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team in a key leadership role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, with a minimum of 8 years managing large and complex projects exceeding $10M in budget. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to guide project managers effectively, and a solid understanding of budgeting and resource allocation. Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management Tool (SPM), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day leadership of portfolio capital delivery resources
- ULC domain subject matter expert
- Delivery escalation point for classroom and homeroom portfolio
- Provide coaching to PMs/SMs around PMO ULC standards
- Ensure adherence to PMO/ULC standards and governance guidelines
- Participate in continuous improvement related to PMO/ULC standards
- Provide portfolio overviews (status, escalations, financials, ISD, etc.)
- Participate in MORs
- Participate in WORs
Skills:
- Program management expertise
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource allocation
- Familiarity with SPM tool and Agile/Waterfall methodologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
