Job Summary:
Join our team in Siebert, CO, where you will be responsible for providing safety consulting services to Xcel clients. Your role involves identifying, monitoring, and recommending corrective actions for workplace safety hazards through on-site audits, consulting, ergonomic assessments, and interventions in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies. Additionally, you will collaborate on safety policy development and training initiatives. While primarily focused on specific plant(s) or area(s), you may also support other departments within the business area. In each region, this position plays a key role in administering the electric and gas public safety program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safety consulting services to Xcel clients
- Recognize, monitor, and recommend corrective actions for workplace safety hazards
- Conduct on-site audits and consulting services
- Perform ergonomic assessments and interventions
- Collaborate on safety policy development and training
- Administer the electric and gas public safety program
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to conduct thorough audits and assessments
- Proficiency in developing safety policies and training programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is a plus
