Qualifications
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Company’s IT infrastructure, including but not limited to networks, servers, security programs and systems, managing upgrades and installation of new hardware and software, troubleshooting networks, systems and mobile device problems.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Support LANs, WANs, networks, VPN, internet and intranet systems.

Troubleshoot and analyze the IT network, printers and workstation problems.

Ensure the use of best practices and current security requirements and standards (NIST, CMMC, or similar).
-
Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, access points, switches firewalls, phones, company cell phones, software, security updates and patches.
-
Manage virtual hosts and virtual machines.
-
Maintain systems according to Company’s requirements.
-
Support and administer Office 365 and other Company software.
-
Monitor network and server performance.
-
Monitor Company IT support ticketing system and provide timely assistance.
-
Ensure security through access controls.
-
Set up user accounts, laptops, mobile devices, servers, virtual machines, printers, mobile devices.
-
Support End-Users.
-
Assist in developing policies and procedures.
-
Assist with communication with IT vendors.
-
Assist in responding to client security and privacy questionnaires and audits
-
Assist in managing and maintaining ongoing security programs and requirements
-
Continue to develop and document our security program to meet our needs
-
Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvement

Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and major changes to the information security environment
-
Conduct ongoing testing and training
-
Assist in preparation for additional audits and security frameworks
-
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Must have prior system migration experience (Servers, Virtualization, Email etc..).
-
Must have strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
-
Must be familiar with Windows OS and other operating systems.
-
Must have a working understanding of Hyper-V, VMware, virtual hosts, virtual machines to perform upgrades, updates, migrations, maintenance.

Must have strong knowledge of AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, SMTP.

Must have strong knowledge of Office 365 (SharePoint, Exchange, One Drive, Skype).

Must be highly skilled in networking (WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).

Must have experience in User, Desktop, and Remote support.

Must have strong problem-solving ability, be a self-starter, and be able to manage and prioritize projects.

Must have excellent time management skills.

Must be able to prioritize workload.

Must have basic knowledge of EDR, MDR, XDR, Huntress, S1, ThreatLocker or similar tools
Required Education and Experience:
-
Compliance (ISO, CMMC, NIST) preferred

Bachelors degree in Information Technology preferred.

Associate Degree in Computer Science or associated technical discipline required.
-
Minimum 2 years of IT Administrator experience required.

NET and/or SECURITY , or related Microsoft Certifications (Preferred).

All candidates are required to pass a drug screening and background check and must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This is a chemical plant environment.

Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by safety policies.

Must be able to move and lift to 50 lbs.
-
Must be able to climb up a ladder and use tools when required.

Must be able to run cables and install devices.
-
Noise levels are moderate throughout the plant.
