We are currently seeking an Activities Coordinator who is creative, energetic and fun loving to join our team. The Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating a wide variety of social events throughout the year. We're looking for an individual who has the ability to work well with diverse groups of people and has a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and promote physical health, emotional health, and social health of residents.
- Manage overall activities in facility.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive activities and programs for residents.
- Plan and coordinate resident activities.
- Be a good listener.
- Be diplomatic and tactful when dealing with angry or upset residents, their family, or other staff.
- Do legwork.
- Locate appropriate facilities for activities outside of the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
