We are currently seeking applicants for a Loan Operations Support Specialist I.
Qualified Candidates will be responsible for:
- Provide customer support to loan officers, loan processors and external customers.
- Upload new, refinanced, renewed, and modified loans to core processing system.
- Upload new and transfer participation loans to core processing system.
- Scan and index loan/leasing documents to the document imagining system.
- Data entry and monitoring the core tickler system for document and policy exceptions.
- Monitor document exception email group inbox and process accordingly.
- Complete quality control check within the core imagining system on scanned loan documents.
- Maintain tracking list of all leasing files.
- Process closed loan files, to include cancellation of note, preparation of mortgage and MVLS releases, obtaining officer approval and submission to county clerk.
- Maintain rate index changes in Laser Pro and core processing system.
- Process BHG payments.
- Process UCC/TLS continuations.
- Process participation remittance to various investors.
- Process MARS I Pay payments.
- Process card payments upon customer request.
- Process late fee waivers upon loan officer request.
- Process auto transfer/ACH payment requests.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of:
- Applicable banking regulations and how they relate to Magnolia Bank’s lending policies and procedures.
- Bank’s loan platform and core processing systems as they relate to loans and job responsibilities.
Ability to:
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Organize activities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with other departments within the bank.
- Stay abreast of banking laws and regulations as they pertain to the position.
- Quickly adapt to new procedures and processes as loan regulations change.
- Understand and analyze loan documentation.
Skills:
- Multi-task with limited supervision and display proficient time management skills.
- Cooperate and follow directions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve matters independently.
- Communicate with tact and diplomacy, both orally and in writing, when dealing with customers and employees
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience):
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Associate degree in a business, finance and/or accounting concentration or a minimum of 2 years’ experience with loan documentation, loan processing and basic loan compliance preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the use of the internet.
This position reports to the Loan Operations Officer.
