Position Overview
Magnolia Dental is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant Clinical Lead to join our growing practice. This leadership role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to mentor and support a dynamic dental team. The Clinical Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless daily operations, maintaining high standards of patient care, and upholding clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Coordination: Oversee and mentor dental assistants, ensuring efficient workflows, professional development, and adherence to best practices.
Chairside Assistance: Provide expert chairside assistance to dentists during procedures, ensuring efficiency, comfort, and optimal patient care.
Patient Experience: Guide patients through their dental visits with confidence, providing pre- and post-treatment education, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort.
Infection Control & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and compliant clinical environment.
Technology & Equipment Management: Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, maintained, and in optimal working condition.
X-rays & Diagnostic Support: Take and process high-quality dental X-rays while following all state regulations and safety protocols.
Inventory & Supplies Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring the practice is well-stocked and prepared for patient care.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to enhance patient care, streamline processes, and maintain a positive team culture.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience (leadership experience preferred).
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program and current Ohio radiology certification (required).
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for coaching and mentoring team members.
Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Proficiency with dental software and digital technology (experience with specific software, if applicable is a plus).
Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards with a commitment to maintaining compliance.
