Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dentist in providing high-quality patient care and ensure the smooth operation of the dental office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality.
- Provide patient education on oral health and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and reception area.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
- Handle administrative tasks, including billing and insurance processing.
Qualifications:
- Current dental assistant certification or relevant state license.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with dental software and office procedures is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- May involve exposure to dental tools, chemicals, and X-ray equipment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and assist with patient mobility.
