We are looking for full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to be a part of our incredible team and who have the same vision.
Our RNs provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by LPNs/LVNs and CNAs. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Specific Requirements:
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully and cheerfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
Must be able to relate information concerning a residents condition.
Requirements:
Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
RN license and currently in good standing with Louisiana State Board of Nurse Examiners.
Minimum of Two (2) Years of LTC Experience.
