About the Role :
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the food manufacturing process and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be expected to manage a team of production workers and ensure that they are meeting production targets while maintaining high-quality standards. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that the production process is optimized to meet customer demand and maximize profitability. The Production Manager is responsible to maintain the plant, machinery and its surroundings in compliance with Safety Quality Food Institute and Food Safety Procedures; Ensure enforcement of safety rules and company policies.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering or related field preferred; or experience commensurate with a degree
- 5 years of experience in food manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a management / supervisory role, Tortilla Industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of food production processes and techniques
- Excellent communication in English & Spanish
- Senior level leadership skills,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong knowledge of a data driven environment
- Ability to understand, create, and use data & KPI's
