Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal and fresh ingredients are utilized.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations including dish area
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, assisting with ordering as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Work as one with entire Culinary team, line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers.
Skills
- Proven experience in culinary roles within catering, casual dining, breakfast and fast pace restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Excellent knife skills with attention to detail in presentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to create accommodating meal options.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
