Responsibilities

- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic health conditions.

- Perform procedures such as IV infusions and medical imaging as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in utilization review processes to ensure quality care delivery.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body.
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as athenahealth is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
