We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for Holiday Inn Brownsville. This role will focus on driving revenue through strategic sales planning, relationship management, and proactive market engagement. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting the hotel to new and existing clients, developing long-term partnerships, and achieving targeted sales goals. This position is selling for 3 hotels
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase hotel occupancy, revenue, and market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and group bookings.
- Build and execute sales campaigns that highlight the hotel’s unique offerings, amenities, and services.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Manage key accounts, focusing on delivering personalized solutions and exceptional service.
- Conduct regular client meetings and follow-up activities to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for further business.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Monitor local and regional market dynamics to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide timely reports and updates on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Work closely with the hotel operations team, including front desk, housekeeping, and event management, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Collaborate with marketing to design promotional materials, digital campaigns, and sales collateral.
- Support training and mentoring of junior sales team members, providing guidance on sales techniques, client interactions, and CRM software.
- Lead efforts to secure group bookings, conferences, weddings, and corporate events.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Coordinate with the event management team to ensure client expectations are met, from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and conversion rates, identifying areas for improvement.
