Overview
We are seeking experienced and dynamic Hotel General Managers to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, maintaining high standards of service, and driving profitability while fostering a positive work environment for all staff. Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out processes and night audit functions.
- Lead and develop a team of department heads to ensure effective communication and collaboration across all areas of the hotel.
- Implement strategies to enhance guest services and satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Monitor budgeting and financial performance, preparing reports for ownership as needed.
- Ensure that the hotel is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote the hotel and increase occupancy rates.
- Foster a positive work culture that encourages staff development and retention.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills to motivate staff effectively.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for enhancing guest interactions.
- Proficient in front desk operations with knowledge of night audit processes.
