Primary Purpose :
Assist in directly managing the information systems and services for the district. Manage the full lifecycle of individual systems and services as assigned from conception, through production and final replacement. This position will have a focus on audio and video systems management including sound mixing for live events, the streaming of live events and video production.
Qualifications : Education
High School diploma or GED
Associate's degree or higher preferred
Technical certifications preferred.
Clear and valid driver's license
Special Knowledge / Skills :
Ability to plan and direct studio and live productions
Ability to manage multi-camera studio and portable live studio set-ups
Ability to operate video switching, character generation and digital video effects equipment, edit controllers, cameras, hard disk video and recorders
Ability to program and manage a sound mixing system for live events
Ability to set up and adjusts studio lighting equipment including fixed and portable tungsten lights
Ability to prepare "B-roll" footage for inclusion in live productions
Knowledge of computer and server setup
Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications (Chrome & Windows)
Ability to install, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals
Ability to install and maintain network cables and hardware
Ability to diagnose computer problems and perform repairs
Ability to communicate with campus and departmental personnel
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently on tasks
Ability to maintain a strong working knowledge of desktop image solutions
Experience
3 years of work experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computing systems, and audio and video production solutions

Major Responsibilities and Duties :
Technical Support
1. Plan and perform video post-production tasks which include reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, video transcoding, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing using an array of professional industry software editing products.
2. Input music, dialogues, graphics, effects, trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video in a way that is invisible to the audience.
3. Manage audio and video production for recorded and live events across the district.
4. Manage camera and PA solutions of all sizes across the district.
5. Provide technical assistance to users of computers, instructional equipment, and software.
6. Install and configure application and operating system software and upgrades.
7. Provide tier one support for Microsoft SCCM.
8. Maintain a working knowledge of network protocols including but not limited to DNS and DHCP
Equipment Repair and Maintenance
9. Diagnose and repair network connectivity and hardware issues, including audio and video solutions, terminals, and computers.
10. Remove old equipment and perform data migration to new machines.
11. Service equipment according to established preventive maintenance schedule. Maintain accurate and updated records of preventive maintenance.
12. Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform repairs and service.
Inventory
13. Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, and other equipment and material at assigned site(s).
14. Identify, request, and control the inventory of parts included in repaired parts.
Other
15. Seek out and attend, with prior approval, necessary professional development and training.
16. Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents.
17. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.
18. Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations.
19. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
20. Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
21. All other duties as assigned.
