TITLE : Transportation Driver
REPORTS TO : Administrator / Transportation Supervisor
Non-Exempt
PURPOSE OF POSITION :
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide transportation safely and timely, per established policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Communicate with the dispatcher on Two-Way Radio
- Be able to operate a Hydraulic Lift.
- Report to Dispatcher and pick up patient schedule daily.
- Transport patients to and from doctors' appointments.
- Inspect the van daily. (ex : check oil, tires, first aid kit & fire extinguisher)
- Ensure that seat belts secure all passengers.
- Other related duties and responsibilities may become necessary to ensure that the facility's needs are met.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS :
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :
This position is highly physical, with frequent bending, pushing, and lifting of approximately 75 pounds or more multiple times a day in a vehicle.
