TITLE: Employee Service Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Administrator
Non-Exempt
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The primary purpose of the position is to perform new employee screening and onboarding process, to assist the Human Resources Department in meeting applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the organization and as directed by the SVP Human Resources, to assure that the proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as employee Customer Service and liaison to Magnolia Manor Human Resource Department for all employee related services.
- Assists applicants with online application process, review and submit all applicants to hiring managers, assist in scheduling the interviews, and update recruiting log daily.
- Coordinate Post Offer Screening with Staff Development or clinical staff (Drug Screen, PPD, Covid-19, and Health Assessment).
- Follow the Hiring process as defined by Corporate Human Resources.
- Assist in onboarding and orientating new employees to the facility, its policies and procedures (enter employee into time clock on orientation day or when the clock number is assigned).
- Submits all onboarding docs timely (orientation day) to HR.
- Assist employees with personnel needs as requested, interacting with the corporate Human Resources Department. (Employee Benefits, FMLA, Direct Deposits, Address Changes, Kronos Account Login and resets, etc.)
- Assist department heads and staff with their staff related administrative needs as requested.
- Assist with creating facility nursing schedule for all nursing related positions.
- Process worker’s compensation claims for employee work-related injuries.
- Maintain OSHA logs, investigate and report on work related accidents to the corporate office.
- Stay current with facility WC claims regarding return to work and light duty.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS:
- Ability to interact professionally with residents, family member and staff of all levels.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- 1-3 years of Human Resource experience or its equivalent is preferred.
- Advanced skills in computer and software technology is required.
