Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associates to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in assisted living and personal care environments. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive living environment.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Participate in recreational activities and engage residents in social interactions to promote mental stimulation.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required by facility policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered consistently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, or caregiving is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in group home settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
