Uploads can be submitted under the "additional documents" section of the application. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES  At Magnolia, the Senior Photo Stylist is responsible for telling beautiful, compelling stories by styling photos in a manner that meets the aesthetic standards of the brand with a focus on marketing and product planning and styling. This position collaborates with Photographers, Photo Stylists, and Art Directors as part of the Magnolia Photography team. This position works from the Magnolia Photo studio in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Art Director of Photography and has no supervisory responsibilities.   JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Uphold Magnolia’s manifesto and values  Understand the Magnolia brand aesthetic point of view and take the necessary styling steps to achieve it Maintain a consistent and comprehensive awareness of upcoming photoshoots, stories, campaigns, blogs, and deadlines Brainstorm how to best represent Magnolia product in photography to the benefit of commercial businessesCollaborate with Art Director of Photography on concepts for photoshoots and seasonal launches   Plan and source for upcoming photoshootsExecute propping and styling for ecommerce, marketing, blogs, etc. as directed to meet scheduled photo shoots and specified deadlines Prepare for, initiate, and wrap photoshoots in partnership with other members of the Photography team to be on time and in accordance with schedule Assist in creative asset management and organization Take responsibility for storage, care, and maintenance of styling supplies and samples as well as maintaining an organized studio spaceTake direction from Creative Director of Photography as it relates to overarching brand vision and design point of view Provide guidance to the Photo Stylist(s) to further develop their brand understanding and styling skillsCollaborate with Photo Studio & Operations Manager on photoshoot logistics and team workflow Perform other duties as assigned    QUALIFICATIONS   Hard Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Soft Skills: Highly attentive to detail with strong verbal communication skills Education: Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university preferred Experience: 2 years related work experience required Knowledge of photography and a demonstrated photographic styling talent on an advanced level   PHYSICAL DEMANDS  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
