Full Job Description
Magnolia Primary Care LLC is seeking to hire a medical front office receptionist. We are looking for a dependable employee, with good work ethics who can function well as a collaborative member of the team. We want our employees to be flexible to learn new ways of performing activities that will suite our clinic and clinical flow and to have good attention to details. - Patient Registration including insurance verification
- Appointment Scheduling
- Patient Check-In, Check- Out.
- Collecting payments from patients and posting onto computerized system (co-payments, deductible etc.) and keep track of payments and reporting to the office manager.
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Processing and filing incoming medical documents
- Handling and filing incoming faxes and outgoing faxes.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
- Experience in a relevant health care setting is preferred.
Skills required:
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills to help serve patients with the goal of upholding the company motto to provide compassionate, high quality, personalized care.
- Use of computers with preferable training in Athena software
- Use of telephone, fax machine, copier, scanner, calculator, insurance and driver’s license card scanner, DYMO label printer.
- Use of credit card processing machine.
- Schedule and hours (40 hours/week)
- Monday-Friday : 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM. With 30 min break for lunch from 12:00 to 12: 30 PM
