Teller Team Lead
Magnolia State Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teller Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our branch operations, you will be responsible for supervising and training junior tellers, ensuring seamless transaction processing, and promoting the bank's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train junior tellers, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Conduct transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to bank policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell bank products and services
- Coordinate night depository duties, including logging bags, processing deposits, and making change orders
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to management as needed
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably as a head teller or in a similar supervisory role
- Intermediate knowledge and skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, mainframe computer system, and word processing, spreadsheet, and account opening software programs
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense and deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
- Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties, with a current Georgia driver's license and vehicle insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities
