Water infrastructure is a critical component of the health of all communities in the United States. Position Summary:
This role will provide support to the finance department by performing financial transactions from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Also reconciling statements, tax payments, and general bookkeeping.
Job Duties
- · Reconcile all General Ledger cash accounts with monthly bank statements. Assist in posting monthly, quarterly and yearly journal transactions.
- · Assist in period close process including month end, quarter end and year end
- · Assist with quarterly Call Report preparation.
- · Prepare and submit regulatory reports: FR-Y8 and Summary of Deposits.
- · Assist in preparation of internal monthly, quarterly and year-end Financial Reporting.
- · Assist in preparation of budget.
- · Provide backup for accounts payable and receivable.
· Complete special projects as they arise.
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile all accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Additional duties as assigned

Requirements
- 1 Years’ experience as an Accountant
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field
- is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP or QuickBooks Advanced
- MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables
- ·Experience with general ledger functions
- · Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
