What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at Magnum Companies?
The primary function of this position is to generate new leads and grow Magnum’s revenue, by increasing sales through new and existing business customer relationships.
- Work with current accounts to grow our business by building relationships and providing transportation solutions to Magnum customers.
- Identify and generate qualified leads for prospective business by utilizing information Transportation resources and industry knowledge.
- Generate sales lead by networking, look for new businesses and industries that fit our profile and our service region.
- Responsible for proactively engaging in teamwork to achieve successful outcomes for clients and coworkers.
- Proactively maintain open communication with the Regional Sales Director.
- Solicit new business through outside selling.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings & presentations.
- Call prospective and current clients to cultivate relationships.
- Generate and submit accurate and informative sales reports.
- Responsible for working with prospective accounts and our pricing department to establish a pricing program.
- Present pricing and follow up with new accounts to develop ongoing freight revenue.
- Formulate and execute effective plans, strategies, and solutions to satisfy client needs, increasing the probability of turning prospects into productive long-term contracts.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with at least 5 years of experience in sales and customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.
