As the Terminal Manager, you will manage day-to-day operations and lead a team with vision, integrity, and accountability. You will coordinate the high-performing operation of the terminal, ensuring the terminal exceeds operational, safety, and revenue goals.
- Lead all employees by modeling our core values and work ethic expected of all employees. Foster a positive culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Identify challenges and opportunities and implement solutions that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of all terminal processes and aid in day-to-day operations as necessary.
- Coordinate terminal operations to ensure continuous improvement, while reducing costs and exceeding customer expectations for on-time deliveries.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment by enforcing compliance with company and government safety regulations.
- Hire the best-qualified employees and mentor them by coaching and providing performance evaluations. Facilitate education and training programs to motivate employees to improve performance and the quality of their work.
- Oversee all terminal activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations while driving results aligned with Magnum goals.
- Review and analyze expenditure, financial, and operations reports to optimize profitability and improve processes. Provide strategic recommendations to regional leadership.
- Partner with and support the sales team by preparing information for sales calls within your territory.
- Meet and communicate with vendors as needed to maintain operational needs.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2-year college degree (preferred).
- Prior transportation, warehouse, shipping/receiving experience (preferred).
The physical demands:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods - continuously.
- Ability to talk, hear, and see – continuously.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds – occasionally.
- Ability to travel - occasionally.
