Job Summary:
The Electrical Site Training Supervisor is responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing electricians on-site to enhance their technical skills, safety awareness, and job performance. This individual will work closely with Foremen and Superintendents to identify electricians who need additional training and support, ensuring a skilled and efficient workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on training and coaching sessions for electricians at all skill levels, focusing on industry best practices, safety compliance, and technical skills.
- Evaluate electricians’ performance through observation and feedback from Foremen and Superintendents, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of electricians, apprentices, and journeymen.
- Ensure all on-site electricians understand and comply with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and NEC codes.
- Provide guidance on troubleshooting, installation techniques, wiring methods, and blueprint reading.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation for new electricians to familiarize them with job site expectations and procedures.
- Document training activities, progress reports, and individual improvement plans.
- Serve as a technical resource for the field team, answering questions and providing solutions to on-site challenges.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among the electrical workforce.
- Collaborate with company leadership and training departments to align job site training initiatives with company-wide goals.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (preferred but not required).
- 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work.
- Prior experience in training, mentoring, or leadership roles is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and electrical installation best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and mentor effectively.
- Ability to assess skill levels and tailor training to individual needs.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Commitment to job site safety and quality workmanship.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Primarily works on active construction sites, requiring mobility and hands-on interaction.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
