Job Description:
Magnum Helicopters is seeking a vibrant and personable Guest Relations Representative to join our dynamic team in Hawaii. As a vital member of our customer service team, you will play a key role in ensuring an outstanding experience for our guests from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include greeting and preparing guests for their helicopter rides, managing reservations, and handling various customer service tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Guest Greeting and Preparation:**
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Prepare guests for their helicopter ride by:
- Assisting with emptying pockets and securing personal belongings in company lockers.
- Presenting a thorough safety briefing.
- Using iPad software to prepare load manifests.
- Taking photos of guests and recording souvenir videos in our Ferrari located in the lobby.
- Loading guests into the helicopter, ensuring seat belts and headsets are properly secured.
2. Customer Service and Reservations:
- Answer company phones and provide accurate information about our services.
- Create and manage reservations using FareHarbor.
- Track flying aircraft along their route via computer to ensure timely and smooth operations.
3. Guest Interaction Post-Tour:
- Greet guests upon landing, ensuring they safely exit the helicopter.
- Assist with the sale of retail items, photos, and flight videos.
4. Facility Maintenance:
- Perform general daily housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a welcoming and organized facility.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry.
- Communication Skills:Must be outgoing, friendly, and comfortable conversing with strangers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Multitasking: Ability to handle a high-paced work environment with rapidly changing conditions.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various computer software and apps including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Gyronimo iPad App, and Square POS. Willingness to learn new systems as needed.
- Safety and Compliance: Must be able to pass a background check and obtain an airport security badge.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform duties in various weather conditions.
