What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freight Handler position at Magnum, LTD?
- The LTL Freight Handler is responsible for the timely and accurate loading and unloading of semi-trailers at an assigned Magnum LTL location.
- Unload freight from incoming semi-trailers at dock on receiving side of warehouse.
- Reload manifest, match product in trucks to specified delivery products and locations
- Inspect freight for damage
- Enter necessary data into computer
- Reload freight into appropriate trailer at loading dock for driver to deliver utilizing propane powered and/or sit-down style forklifts and hand loading.
- Maintain clean environment, including removing broken pallets, sweeping inside of trailers, etc.
- Assist with projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to fluently read, speak, and write English to complete necessary paperwork and communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
