What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineering Internship position at Magnum Piering?
Magnum Geo-Solutions is currently seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our growing Loveland, CO office team. You will provide design support for a wide variety of projects in a wide variety of locations. This position has the potential of turning into a full-time engineering position. Hours will be set based upon your availability and our work load; possibility for additional hours during the holidays. This would be a great opportunity to gain some real-world experience and earn a little extra money. Magnum Geo-Solutions provides a fun, flexible work environment.
Qualifications:
- M.S. or B.S. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or in the process of obtaining degree.
- Engineer-In-Training Certificate or plans to take the Fundamental Exam preferred.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Must have AutoCAD experience
- Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular, Excel
- Self-motivated problem solver
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
- A strong work ethic
- Desire to learn new skills
- Strong organizational skills
