REPORTS TO : Aftermarket Sales Manager

SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator will manage smaller, less complex projects to support the efficient day-to-day operations of Magnum Systems' Project Management Department. This position requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment focused on customer service, task completion and attention to details.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support the day-to-day operation of Magnum Systems' Project Management department by managing several small projects.
  • Work with multiple departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Help with tracking part and vendor dates to support system schedules in to provide timely customer updates.
  • Provide regular feedback to the entire Operations team to support on time delivery.
  • Customer service, administrative activities such as answering the phone, responding to emails, and leading the charge to resolve customer issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year project related experience in an equipment manufacturing environment or similar industry
  • Preferred :

  • Associate Degree
  • SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Critical thinking skills. Able to proactively identify needs, predict obstacles, assess solutions, and communicate importance of accountability.
  • People skills. Must work closely with other departments, employees, customers, executive team, and vendors. Listening and providing an environment for open communication from all levels is critical.
  • Understands that everything that leaves our facility is a representation of the employees, company, and reputation (drawings, written and verbal communication, etc.). Must have concept of "the big picture" when it comes to internal changes of policy or procedure.
  • Product knowledge or aptitude for manufactured equipment and engineered products.
  • Excellent presentation, listening, and investigating skills.
  • Professional communication and relationship selling skills.
  • Continuous education driven. Looking to improve every day and leading by example.

    Work Environment

  • This position operates in a professional office setting with limited exposure to noise, hazards, or extreme temperatures. This role routinely involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
  • The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, mandatory hearing protection, and safety footwear.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Sitting : Primarily a sedentary position, involving extended periods of sitting to handle phone calls, process orders, and manage customer inquiries via computer systems.
  • Sedentary Work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
  • Light Work : Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and / or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
  • Reaching and Typing : Frequent reaching and finger dexterity are essential for managing computer tasks, operating a phone, and handling paperwork. The job often requires accurate typing and occasional document handling.
  • Lifting : Light lifting may be required occasionally, typically up to 10 pounds, for tasks like moving office supplies or files.
  • Hearing and Speaking : Clear verbal communication is crucial for customer service interactions, as well as the ability to understand customer requests over the phone. Good hearing ability is essential for effective communication.
  • Visual Acuity : Strong close visual acuity is needed to view computer screens, analyze data, and handle small amounts of paperwork. The role often involves extensive screen time, which can require occasional breaks to avoid eye strain.
  • Standing and Walking : While generally minimal, occasional standing or walking around the office may be required.
