In this role, you will support all departments across the company in optimizing and improving processes to enhance overall operational efficiency, quality, and safety. You will assist in analyzing data, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), root cause analysis, and implementing process improvements. Your contributions will span a variety of functions beyond manufacturing, supporting teams in areas such as production, quality, sales, and logistics.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes for enhanced productivity and reduced waste.
  • Support the design and implementation of process improvements and process controls.
  • Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments across the company, including production, sales, and customer service, to standardize processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify trends and inefficiencies.
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and process optimization assessments.
  • Help create process documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure product quality is maintained during process changes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and participate in problem-solving efforts to resolve process issues.
  • Present findings and suggestions to senior engineers and teams.

Requirements

What You Will Need:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively, both in-person and virtually.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Some hands-on activities involving equipment and machinery may be required.
  • Adherence to safety protocols is a must.
